(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَوْ أَنَّ مَا يُقِلُّ ظُفُرٌ مِمَّا فِي الْجَنَّةِ بَدَا لَتَزَخْرَفَتْ لَهُ خَوَافِقُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ، وَلَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ اطَّلَعَ ، فَبَدَتْ أَسَاوِرُهُ ، لَطَمَسَ ضَوْؤُهُ ضَوْءَ الشَّمْسِ , كَمَا تَطْمِسُ الشَّمْسُ ضَوْءَ النُّجُومِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If something less than a fingernail of Paradise were to appear in this world, all four directions of the earth and sky would be adorned. And if a man from Paradise were to look into this world and his bracelet became visible, its light would outshine the light of the sun just as the sun's light outshines the light of the stars."
