It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not ask the People of the Book about anything, because they will never show you the right path, for they themselves are misguided. Now, either you will end up confirming something false or denying something true. And even if Sayyiduna Musa were alive among you, he would have no choice but to follow me.
