It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) once set out with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When they reached Thaniyyat al-Wada’, he began to weep and said, “Are you leaving me behind with the women and children?” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Are you not pleased that your relation to me is like that of Harun (peace be upon him) to Musa (peace be upon him), except that there is no Prophethood after me?”
