Hadith 14629

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عبدُ الله بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا ذَكَرَ السَّاعَةَ احْمَرَّتْ وَجْنَتَاهُ ، وَاشْتَدَّ غَضَبُهُ ، وَعَلَا صَوْتُهُ ، كَأَنَّهُ مُنْذِرُ جَيْشٍ صُبِّحْتُمْ مُسِّيتُمْ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned the Day of Judgment, his voice would become louder, his blessed face would turn red, and his passion would increase, and it would seem as if he was warning against an approaching army.
