(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ , عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ ، قَالَ : مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْ الْمَدِينَةِ حَرَامٌ ، قَدْ حَرَّمَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، كَمَا حَرَّمَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ مَكَّةَ ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ الْبَرَكَةَ فِيهَا بَرَكَتَيْنِ ، وَبَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِي صَاعِهِمْ وَمُدِّهِمْ .
Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the area between the two boundaries of Madinah Munawwarah is a sanctuary (Haram). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) declared it a sanctuary just as Sayyiduna Ibrahim (peace be upon him) had declared Makkah Mukarramah a sanctuary. O Allah! Grant the people of Madinah double blessings and bless their Sa' and Mudd (measures).
