(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، عَنْ وُهَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " تُقْطَعُ الْيَدُ فِي ثَمَنِ الْمِجَنِّ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The hand of a thief will be cut off for stealing something equal in value to a shield."
