Once, Hasan bin Muhammad asked Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) about the ritual bath (ghusl) after sexual impurity. He replied that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would pour water over his head with his hands three times. He (Hasan) said, "But my hair is very long." Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had more hair on his blessed head than you in terms of quantity, and in terms of fragrance, his hair was the best of all."
