Hadith 14424

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، يَقُولُ : " نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْوَسْمِ فِي الْوَجْهِ ، وَالضَّرْبِ فِي الْوَجْهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade branding on the face and hitting on the face.
