(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : بَدَأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالصَّلَاةِ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ بِغَيْرِ أَذَانٍ وَلَا إِقَامَةٍ ، قَالَ : ثُمَّ خَطَبَ الرِّجَالَ وَهُوَ مُتَوَكِّئٌ عَلَى قَوْسٍ ، قَالَ : ثُمَّ أَتَى النِّسَاءَ ، فَخَطَبَهُنَّ ، وَحَثَّهُنَّ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ ، قَالَ : فَجَعَلْنَ يَطْرَحْنَ الْقِرَطَةَ ، وَالْخَوَاتِيمَ وَالْحُلِيَّ إِلَى بِلَالٍ ، قَالَ : وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ قَبْلَ الصَّلَاةِ ، وَلَا بَعْدَهَا .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in prayer without adhan or iqamah. After the prayer, he addressed us, and when he finished, he descended from the pulpit and went to the women and gave them admonition and advice. During this, Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) was with him; there was no one else. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed them to give charity, so the women began to hand over their earrings and rings to Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him).
