Hadith 14368

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، وَيَعْلَى ، وَوَكِيعٌ ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُّ الصَّلَاةِ أَفْضَلُ ؟ قَالَ : " طُولُ الْقُنُوتِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a person asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "Which prayer is the most virtuous?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "The lengthy prayer."
