(حديث موقوف) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ جُنْدُبٍ , حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ الزُّبَيْرَ بْنَ الْعَوَّامِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ , يَقُولُ : كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْجُمُعَةَ ، ثُمَّ نُبَادِرُ فَمَا نَجِدُ مِنَ الظِّلِّ إِلَّا مَوْضِعَ أَقْدَامِنَا , أَوْ قَالَ : فَمَا نَجِدُ مِنَ الظِّلِّ مَوْضِعَ أَقْدَامِنَا .
Sayyiduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that we used to perform the Friday prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), (and after returning, we would scatter seeds in the sand dunes), and at that time, we would find no shade except for the place of our own feet.
