It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) was struck by an arrow in the vein of his arm. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cauterized it with a broad-headed arrow with his blessed hand. When it swelled, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cauterized it again.
