It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the occasion of the Battle of Uhud, a man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "If I am martyred, where will I go?" He replied, "To Paradise." Upon hearing this, the man put aside the dates he had in his hand and leapt into the battlefield until he attained martyrdom.
