Hadith 14311

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sold a mudabbar slave, whom Ibn Nuham bought. He was a Coptic slave and died in the very first year of the caliphate of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zubair. An Ansari had made him mudabbar, and besides him, he had no other wealth of any kind.
