Hadith 14308

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعَ عَمْرٌو ، جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، وَقَالَ مَرَّةً : عَمْرٌو ، سَمِعَهُ مِنْ جَابِرٍ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْحَرْبُ خُدْعَةٌ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: War is a deception.
