Hadith 14304

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ نُبَيْحٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، " نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَطْرُقَ النِّسَاءَ ، ثُمَّ طَرَقْنَاهُنَّ بَعْدُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us from entering the city at night and going to our homes without prior notice, but after him, we started doing so.
