Hadith 14299

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ الْمُنْكَدِرِ غَيْرَ مَرَّةٍ ، يَقُولُ : عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، وَكَأَنِّي سَمِعْتُه يَقُولُ : أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ جَابِرًا ، فَظَنَنْتُهُ سَمِعَهُ مِنَ ابنِ عَقيلٍ ، ابْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ ، وَأَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ ، وَأَنَّ عُمَرَ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ate meat and performed prayer without renewing ablution. Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) drank goat's milk and performed prayer without renewing ablution. Similarly, Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) ate meat and performed prayer without renewing ablution.
