Hadith 14295

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when my father was martyred in the Battle of Uhud and he was brought before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), a cloth was placed over him. I began to remove the cloth from his face, and people started to stop me, but the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not stop me. Meanwhile, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) heard the sound of a woman weeping. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Who is this?" People replied: The daughter of Amr or the sister of Amr. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Why are you weeping? The angels continued to shade him until he was taken away."
