Hadith 14289

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، سَمِعَهُ مِنْ جَابِرٍ " كَانَ يُنْتَبَذُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سِقَاءٍ ، فإذا لم يكن سِقَاءٌ ، فَتْورٌ مَنْ حِجارَةٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that Nabidh used to be prepared for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a waterskin, and if that waterskin was not available, it would be prepared in a stone pot.
