Hadith 14281

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ يَعْنِي التَّيْمِيَّ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ بِقَلِيلٍ أَوْ بِشَهْرٍ : " مَا مِنْ نَفْسٍ مَنْفُوسَةٍ أَوْ مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ نَفْسٍ الْيَوْمَ مَنْفُوسَةٍ يَأْتِي عَلَيْهَا مِائَةُ سَنَةٍ ، وَهِيَ يَوْمَئِذٍ حَيَّةٌ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said a few days or a month before his passing: "Today, whoever is alive, a hundred years will not pass before he is no longer alive."
