Hadith 14280

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قَطَنٍ ، وَرَوْحٌ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، قَالَ رَوْحٌ : ابْنُ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " احْتَجَمَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ ، مِنْ وَثْءٍٍ كَانَ بِوَرِكِهِ ، أَوْ ظَهْرِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had cupping done while in the state of ihram due to a sprain in his hip bone or back.
