Hadith 14275

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " مَثَلُ الصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسِ الْمَكْتُوبَاتِ ، كَمَثَلِ نَهَرٍ جَارٍ بِبَابِ أَحَدِكُمْ ، يَغْتَسِلُ مِنْهُ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ خَمْسَ مَرَّاتٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: The example of the five obligatory prayers is like that of a river flowing at the door of one of you, and he bathes in it five times a day.
