Hadith 14265

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا نَتَمَتَّعُ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، نَذْبَحُ الْبَقَرَةَ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ ، نَشْتَرِكُ فِيهَا .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), we used to benefit from the fact that seven people would jointly sacrifice one cow.
