Hadith 14264

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سَيَّارٌ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ الْفَقِيرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أُعْطِيتُ خَمْسًا لَمْ يُعْطَهُنَّ أَحَدٌ قَبْلِي بُعِثْتُ إِلَى الْأَحْمَرِ وَالْأَسْوَدِ ، وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ إِنَّمَا يُبْعَثُ إِلَى قَوْمِهِ خَاصَّةً ، وَبُعِثْتُ إِلَى النَّاسِ عَامَّةً ، وَأُحِلَّتْ لِي الْغَنَائِمُ ، وَلَمْ تُحَلَّ لِأَحَدٍ قَبْلِي ، وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ ، شَهْرٍ وَجُعِلَتْ لِي الْأَرْضُ طَهُورًا وَمَسْجِدًا ، فَأَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ أَدْرَكَتْهُ الصَّلَاةُ ، فَلْيُصَلِّ حَيْثُ أَدْرَكَتْهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I have been given five things which were not given to anyone before me: I have been sent to every red and black (i.e., to all mankind), whereas the previous prophets were sent to a specific nation; I have been sent to all people in general. Booty (spoils of war) has been made lawful for me, whereas it was not lawful for anyone before me. I have been helped by awe (instilled in the hearts of the enemy) from a distance of one month's journey. The entire earth has been made pure and a mosque for me, so wherever a person finds the time for prayer, he should pray there.
