Hadith 14252

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " رُمِيَ أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ بِسَهْمٍ فَأَصَابَ أَكْحَلَهُ ، فَأَمَر النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَكُوِيَ عَلَى أَكْحَلِهِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of the Battle of Uhud, an arrow struck a vein in the arm of Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him). By the order of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), his arm was cauterized.
