It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has three daughters, whom he houses, shows compassion to, and supports, Paradise will certainly become obligatory for him." Someone asked: O Messenger of Allah! What if someone has two daughters? He replied: "The same ruling applies." Some people think that if they had asked about one daughter, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would have said that the same ruling applies even for one daughter.
