Hadith 14236

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ نُبَيْحٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ أَصْحَابُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْشُونَ أَمَامَهُ إِذَا خَرَجَ ، وَيَدَعُونَ ظَهْرَهُ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would come out, the noble Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) used to walk in front of him and would leave his blessed back for the angels.
