Hadith 14229

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَزْرَةُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : " حَجَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَحَرْنَا الْبَعِيرَ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ ، وَالْبَقَرَةَ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that we performed Hajj in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and we slaughtered one camel on behalf of seven people and likewise one cow on behalf of seven people.
