Hadith 14204

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ مَسْحِ الْحَصَى ، فَقَالَ " وَاحِدَةٌ ، وَلَئِنْ تُمْسِكْ عَنْهَا ، خَيْرٌ لَكَ مِنْ مِائَةِ بَدَنَةٍ كُلُّهَا سُودُ الْحَدَقَةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) during prayer about removing pebbles, so he said: You may level it only once, and if you do not do even that, then it is better for you than a hundred she-camels, all of whose eyes are black.
