Hadith 14198

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَخْنَسِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا جَلَسَ أَوْ اسْتَلْقَى أَحَدُكُمْ ، فَلَا يَضَعْ رِجْلَيْهِ إِحْدَاهُمَا عَلَى الْأُخْرَى " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any one of you sits or lies on his back, he should not place one leg over the other.
