(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ نُبَيْحٍ الْعَنَزِيِّ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا دَخَلْتُمْ لَيْلًا ، فَلَا يَأْتِيَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَهْلَهُ طُرُوقًا " ، فَقَالَ جَابِرٌ : فَوَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ طَرَقْنَاهُنَّ بَعْدُ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you enter the city at night, do not go to your house without informing them. Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) says: By Allah, after that we began to enter our homes at night.
