Ghazban bin Hanzalah narrates that his father Hanzalah once came to the service of Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) bringing a delegation. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) would ask every person in the delegation about where he was from. When he reached my father, he asked him the same: "Where are you from?" He replied: "From the tribe of Anzah." So he (Umar) said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say that the people of this tribe are victorious and supported."
