(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَدْ دَعَاهُ خَيَّاطٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ، فَإِذَا خُبْزُ شَعِيرٍ وَإِهَالَةٌ سَنِخَةٌ ، قَالَ : فَإِذَا فِيهَا قَرْعٌ ، قَالَ : وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُعْجِبُهُ الْقَرْعُ " ، قَالَ فَجَعَلْتُ أُقَرِّبُهُ قُدَّامَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ أَنَسٌ : لَمْ أَزَلْ يُعْجِبُنِي الْقَرْعُ مُنْذُ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعْجِبُهُ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a tailor invited the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to a meal. When he brought the food, it contained old oil and pumpkin. I saw that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was searching for pumpkin in the bowl. From that time, I also began to like pumpkin.
