(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ ، وحَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ ، وَعُمَرَ ، وَعُثْمَانَ كَانُوا " يَسْتَفْتِحُونَ الْقِرَاءَةَ بَعْدَ التَّكْبِيرِ بِ : الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ سورة الفاتحة آية 2 فِي الصَّلَاةِ " ، قَالَ عَفَّانُ : يَعْنِي فِي الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ التَّكْبِيرِ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that I have performed prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the three caliphs; these noble persons would begin the recitation in prayer with "Alhamdulillahi Rabbil 'Alamin."
