Hadith 14063

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) migrated, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting in front on the mount and Hazrat Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) was behind. Hazrat Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) knew the routes because he used to travel to Syria. Whenever they passed by a group and the people asked, "Abu Bakr! Who is this sitting in front of you?" he would reply, "He is a guide who is guiding me." When they neared Madinah Munawwarah, he sent a message to the Ansari companions who had embraced Islam, Hazrat Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) and his companions. They came to serve both of them and said, "Both of you may enter Madinah in peace and security; you will be obeyed." Thus, both of them entered Madinah Munawwarah. Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says, "I have never seen a day brighter and more beautiful than the day when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and Hazrat Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) entered Madinah Munawwarah, and I also witnessed the day of the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) departure from this world, and I have never seen a day darker and more dreadful than that day."
