(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ : أَنَّ الْمُشْرِكِينَ لَمَّا رَهِقُوا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ فِي سَبْعَةٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ، وَرَجُلَيْنِ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ يَرُدُّهُمْ عَنَّا وَهُوَ رَفِيقِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ ؟ " فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ، فَقَاتَلَ حَتَّى قُتِلَ ، فَلَمَّا أَرْهَقُوهُ أَيْضًا ، قَالَ : " مَنْ يَرُدُّهُمْ عَنِّي وَهُوَ رَفِيقِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ ؟ " حَتَّى قُتِلَ السَّبْعَةُ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِصَاحِبِهِ : " مَا أَنْصَفْنَا إِخْوَانَنَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the polytheists attacked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) during the Battle of Uhud, at that time the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was among seven Ansari and two Qurayshi companions (may Allah be pleased with them). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Who will keep them away from me, and he will be my companion in Paradise?" An Ansari stepped forward and began to fight until he was martyred. In this way, one by one, all seven Ansari companions (may Allah be pleased with them) were martyred. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to his Qurayshi companions, "We have not done justice to our brothers."
