(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : بَيْنَمَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَعَ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ نِسَائِهِ ، إِذْ مَرَّ بِهِ رَجُلٌ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَا فُلَانُ ، هَذِهِ فُلَانَةُ زَوْجَتِي ، فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَنْ كُنْتُ أَظُنُّ بِهِ ، فَإِنِّي لَمْ أَكُنْ لِأَظُنَّ بِكَ ؟ قَالَ : " إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَجْرِي مِنَ ابْنِ آدَمَ مَجْرَى الدَّمِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man passed by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while one of his noble wives was with him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called her by name so that the man would understand that she was the Prophet’s wife. The man said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! I could never think such a thing about you, even though I might think it about someone else." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Satan flows through a person like blood."
