Hadith 14030

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ ، وَحُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " حُفَّتِ الْجَنَّةُ بِالْمَكَارِهِ ، وَحُفَّتِ النَّارُ بِالشَّهَوَاتِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Paradise is surrounded by hardships and Hell is surrounded by desires.
