Hadith 13961

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ السُّلَمِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي حَرَمِيُّ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي قَتَادَةُ ، وَحَمَّادُ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ ، وَسُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ ، سمعوا أنس بن مالك ، أن رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا ، فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever deliberately attributes a false statement to me, he should make his abode in Hell. He said this twice.
