Hadith 13950

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ ، وَقَتَادَةَ ، وَحَمْزَةَ الضَّبِّيِّ ، أنهم سمعوا أنسا ، يَقُولُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " بُعِثْتُ أَنَا وَالسَّاعَةُ هَكَذَا ، وَأَشَارَ بِالسَّبَّابَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى " ، فَكَانَ قَتَادَةُ يَقُولُ : كَفَضْلِ إِحْدَاهُمَا عَلَى الْأُخْرَى .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I and the Hour have been sent like these two fingers together." Saying this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) pointed towards his index finger and middle finger.
