Hadith 13941

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ أَصْحَابُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ " يَنَامُونَ ، ثُمَّ يُصَلُّونَ وَلَا يَتَوَضَّئُونَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the companions (may Allah be pleased with them) of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to fall asleep, then get up and perform prayer without renewing their ablution.
