(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنَّ حَارِثَةَ ابْنَ الرُّبَيِّعِ جَاءَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ نَظَّارًا ، وَكَانَ غُلَامًا ، فَجَاءَ سَهْمٌ غَرْبٌ فَوَقَعَ فِي ثُغْرَةِ نَحْرِهِ ، فَقَتَلَهُ ، فَجَاءَتْ أُمُّهُ الرُّبَيِّعُ ، فَقَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، قَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَكَانَ حَارِثَةَ مِنِّي ، فَإِنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَسَأَصْبِرُ ، وَإِلَّا فَسَيَرَى اللَّهُ مَا أَصْنَعُ ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ : يَا أُمَّ حَارِثَةَ ، إِنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ بِجَنَّةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ ، وَلَكِنَّهَا جِنَانٌ كَثِيرَةٌ ، وَإِنَّهُ فِي الْفِرْدَوْسِ الْأَعْلَى .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that in the Battle of Badr, Hazrat Haritha (may Allah be pleased with him), who was a young boy, went out for a walk. On the way, a sudden arrow from somewhere struck him and he was martyred. His mother presented herself in the court of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! You know how much I loved Haritha. If he is in Paradise, I will be patient, otherwise, you will see what I do." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "O Umm Haritha! Paradise is not just one; there are many Paradises, and Haritha is in the highest and most excellent Paradise among them."
