It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, during the night, the people of Madinah were alarmed due to fear of an enemy. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mounted a slow-paced horse belonging to Hazrat Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) and set out alone, urging it forward. The people also mounted their horses and followed behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). They saw that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was returning and was saying to the people, "There is nothing to be afraid of, do not be alarmed." And regarding the horse, he said, "We found it as swift as the sea. By Allah, after that, no horse could surpass it."
