It is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that under the guardianship of Hazrat Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) there were some orphans under care. He bought some wine with their money and kept it. When wine was declared forbidden, he asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) whether, if the orphans had wine, could they not turn it into vinegar? He replied, "No." So they poured it away.
