It is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came and asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for something. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that he be given many goats from the charity goats, "enough to fill the space between two mountains." That man went back to his people and said, "O people! Accept Islam, because Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) gives so much that there is no fear of poverty or want." In another chain of narration, there is this addition: Sometimes a man would come to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and accept Islam only to obtain worldly goods, but by the evening of that very day, the religion would become dearest to him above all else.
