Hadith 13489

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : " كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْجُمُعَةَ ، ثُمَّ نَرْجِعُ إِلَى الْقَائِلَةِ ، فَنَقِيلُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that we used to perform the Friday prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and after that we would reach our resting place and take a midday nap.
