Hadith 13479

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ ، قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ : " أَنَّ اللَّهَ تَابَعَ الْوَحْيَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبْلَ وَفَاتِهِ حَتَّى تُوُفِّيَ ، أَكْثَرَ مَا كَانَ الْوَحْيُ يَوْمَ تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that Allah Almighty continuously sent down revelation upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) before his passing, until he passed away, and the most revelation was sent down on the day the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away.
