Hadith 13365

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ ، وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ ، وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ ، وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ ، وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to frequently supplicate: "O Allah! I seek refuge in You from anxiety, sorrow, incapacity, laziness, miserliness, cowardice, the burden of debts, and the overpowering of men."
