(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : " دَعَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ ، فَانْطَلَقَ وَانْطَلَقْتُ مَعَهُ ، قَالَ : فَجِيءَ بِمَرَقَةٍ فِيهَا دُبَّاءٌ ، فَجَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْكُلُ ذَلِكَ الدُّبَّاءَ ، وَيُعْجِبُهُ ، فَلَمَّا رَأَيْتُ ذَلِكَ ، جَعَلْتُ أُلْقِيهِ إِلَيْهِ وَلَا أَطْعَمُ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا " ، فَقَالَ أَنَسٌ : فَمَا زِلْتُ أُحِبُّهُ ، قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ : فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيَّ ، فَقَالَ : مَا أَتَيْنَا أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ قَطُّ فِي زَمَانِ الدُّبَّاءِ ، إِلَّا وَجَدْنَاهُ فِي طَعَامِهِ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a man invited the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and I also went there. When the broth was brought, it contained gourd (pumpkin). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) liked gourd very much, so I kept separating it and placing it before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), but I did not eat it myself. And from that time, I began to like gourd.
