(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ غَزِيَّةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ حُمَيْدَ بْنَ عُبَيْدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي الْمُعَلَّى ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ ثَابِتًا الْبُنَانِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِجِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام : " مَا لِي لَمْ أَرَ مِيكَائِيلَ ضَاحِكًا قَطُّ ؟ قَالَ : مَا ضَحِكَ مِيكَائِيلُ مُنْذُ خُلِقَتِ النَّارُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asked Hazrat Jibreel (peace be upon him), "What is the matter, I have never seen Mika'il laughing?" He replied, "Since Hell was created, Mika'il has never laughed."
